DAY 76: Bounce Back

Well, the fourth of July weekend was a pretty good one.  I grabbed a couple extra calories though.  And yet I’ve tried to temper it with a bit of hard riding last week; 110 miles outside and 2 1/2 hours of spin.  The positive sign is the consistent 213 or 214 in the last 3 days.

So the 0.6 might be from a few bonus pieces of Tri-Tip or it could also be the massive amounts of lactic acid now filling my abdomen after yesterday’s core extravaganza.  I definitely want to be super disciplined this week in order to break this low teen plateau.  Sunday (the 12th) is the big ride, LIVESTRONG Challenge/San Jose.  205 lbs. was the goal, but a clean 210 would be nice.
